Work Days and hours would vary depending on student's schedule.
This is an ongoing internship located in Columbus, OH. The selected candidate will ideally be able to work throughout the school year and summer, for an average of 20 hours per week or less (with flexibility during the school semesters given class schedule and course load).
Major/field of study should be in: Criminal Justice, Intelligence Studies, Political Science, Social Science Majors and related fields

Employment Requirements (all must be verified upon hire) To be eligible for an internship opportunity at the Ohio Department of Public Safety, an applicant must:
Be currently enrolled in an accredited college/university.
Be in good standing with the college/university.
Have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.0.
Be enrolled in at least one course.
Be pursuing a degree or finishing a degree.

The pay rate for a college intern is based upon the students' academic status: Undergraduate student rate of pay - $16.93 per hour, Graduate student rate of pay - $20.59 per hour
Background: A BCI and FBI fingerprint check, a law enforcement background check, including a polygraph examination, may be required on all selected applicants.
