Location: Four Seasons Environmental, Inc. - DSCC, Columbus, Ohio

Min. Yrs. Experience: Experience is preferred

Pay: $55.00/hr. plus an additional health and welfare fringe benefit of $5.36

*Additional overtime at time and a half rate as needed.

Hours: Monday to Friday (8 hour shifts): 7:00 am to 3:30 pm; Temporary schedule adjustments may occur to accommodate client needs. Must be available for emergency response.

Job Description

  • Performs a variety of electrical trade functions such as the installation, maintenance, or repair of equipment for the generation, distribution, or utilization of electric energy. Installing or repairing any of a variety of electrical equipment such as generators, transformers, switchboards, controllers, circuit breakers, motors, heating units, conduit systems, or other transmission equipment. Working from blueprints, drawings, layouts, or other specifications; locating and diagnosing trouble in the electrical system or equipment.


Abilities/Skills/Knowledge Required by the Position

  • Electrician requires rounded training and experience usually acquired through a formal apprenticeship or equivalent training and experience.
  • Electrical Generating Systems Association Certification Program Certificate of Completion required.

  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods

Requirements

  • Employees must meet the requirements of the federal credentialing process to access the facility, which includes but is not limited to, obtaining facility access (aka PIV card, smart card, access card, badge, Dbids) and meeting ongoing training and access requirements.
  • Must hold journeyman electrical certificate.
  • Must hold and maintain a valid [State] driver's license, with a driving record that complies with the company's fleet insurance requirements. This includes successful completion of initial and recurring Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) checks.
