We're seeking an experienced Mechanical/Electrical Superintendent to lead field operations for large commercial construction projects in the Columbus area. This role oversees all MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) scopes — ensuring safety, schedule, and quality standards are consistently met.

You'll be responsible for coordinating subcontractors, leading field teams, and managing day-to-day activities related to the installation, commissioning, and turnover of mechanical and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate MEP subcontractors and field crews
• Oversee jobsite safety, schedule, and quality control
• Manage project logistics, manpower, and progress tracking
• Review drawings and specifications for compliance and constructability
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and owners to resolve field issues
• Support commissioning, inspections, and project closeout activities
• Mentor Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers, and Interns

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in mechanical/electrical or MEP construction supervision
• Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, and safety protocols
• Proven ability to manage field operations and subcontractor performance
• Experience with commercial or industrial construction required
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
• Familiarity with BIM, Revit, or Navisworks is a plus
