Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a cohesive merchandising strategy that aligns with cross‑functional strategies (design, marketing, visual, store operations, etc.).
  • Lead short‑term and long‑term product and business strategies that grow the business and maximize the potential of stores and eCommerce.
  • Use customer profile and market insights to identify trends, adapt them to the brand, and scale them appropriately.
  • Drive innovation and new ideas on product, ensuring the merchandising vision is executed to fruition.
  • Communicate and track team performance against the strategic view of the line.
  • Build and empower a high‑performing merchant team through strong leadership and continuous talent development.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership and cross‑functional teams to influence decision‑making and build trust.

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in business, retail merchandising, fashion merchandising, or related field.
  • 10+ years of progressively significant merchant roles in apparel, preferably in specialty and/or full‑line retail.
  • Strategic thinker with strong presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Proven management experience with demonstrated leadership potential.
  • Strong problem‑solving, conflict management, and mentoring skills.
  • Proficient in computer tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Google Suite).
