Job Description & Requirements Specialty: MRI Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 12/01/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist experienced with Siemens equipment and proficient with imaging procedures across all age groups. Responsibilities Position is based in a newly opened outpatient oncology center Work with state-of-the-art MRI scanners, CT equipment, X-ray unit, and C-arm for procedures Patient population includes neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics Procedures encompass abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, diffusion, and perfusion scans Rotating shift of 4x10s from 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM, occasional 5x8s from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM to provide coverage Use of Epic EMR and PACS system is required Main responsibilities include performing MRI scans, starting IVs, obtaining vitals, and ensuring MRI safety screening Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary healthcare professionals for accurate patient diagnoses and care Adhere to strict safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace Former employees eligible if away for 6 months or more; current employees at Ohio State University hospitals are not eligible All requested time off must be provided with submission and will be included in the contract Locals are accepted at the same rate as travelers Requirements Minimum 1 year experience as an MRI Technologist in an outpatient or hospital setting Current BLS certification required ARRT registration required; advanced ARRT certification preferred Proficiency in IV starts, phlebotomy, and contrast administration required Experience with Siemens MRI equipment and Epic documentation required Strong understanding of advanced MRI techniques including gradient echo, spin echo, T-1, and T-2 weighted images Two professional references are required, at least one from a manager, supervisor, or charge staff Must complete Ohio fingerprinting process promptly upon contract signing Submittals without an Ohio license are acceptable; license required if applicable Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-620169.
