Serving at the pleasure of the Executive Director, the Ohio Ethics Commission is seeking an experienced Advisory Staff Attorney to help further its mission to promote ethics in public service and support the day-to-day operation of the agency.

MINIMUM CLASS QUALIFICATIONS FOR EMPLOYMENT:
Admission to Ohio Bar pursuant to Section 4705.01 of Revised Code; 12 mos. exp. as licensed attorney; 6 mos. exp. in employee training & development.
TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT REQUIRED TO REMAIN IN THE CLASSIFICATION AFTER EMPLOYMENT:
Completion of 24 credit hours of continuing legal education from accredited programs for applicable two-year reporting period pursuant to Rule X of Rules of Government of Bar of Ohio. Current certificate of registration pursuant to Rule VII of Rules of Government of Bar of Ohio
Unless required by legislation or union contract, this position starts at Step 1 of the applicable pay range schedule at $39.22/hour and after completion of six (6) months of satisfactory employment moves to Step 2 at $41.46/hour. The Ohio Ethics Commission operates business 8AM-5PM Monday-Friday and flexible shifts/schedules within those hours may be available.
