We are looking for a Lead QA Engineer to work for our client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of automated testing frameworks using Playwright.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to define test strategies and ensure high-quality releases.
• Manage and track defects using JIRA, ensuring timely resolution and communication.
• Write and maintain test scripts and queries using SQL to validate backend data integrity.
• Support and mentor QA team members, promoting best practices and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to test automation efforts in Ruby, enhancing coverage and efficiency.

• Proven experience in leading QA efforts in agile environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright for end-to-end testing.
• Proficiency in JIRA, SQL, and Ruby for test automation and issue tracking.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based testing environments is a plus.
