Local to Columbus, OH and able to work onsite Tues-Thurs

About the Role: Join a dynamic enterprise team driving large-scale SAP modernization. We're seeking an SAP Principal Engineer with deep architectural expertise and the ability to review ABAP code, coach developers, and guide solution design across PM, MM, FI/CO, and GRC. This is a technical leadership role requiring strong functional understanding to bridge business and engineering.
What You'll Do

• Review ABAP code for performance, quality, and security; provide hands-on coaching and best practices to developers.
• Own end-to-end SAP solution architecture spanning PM, MM, FI/CO, and GRC; align designs to enterprise standards.
• Collaborate with product owners, functional leads, and enterprise architects to deliver scalable, secure solutions.
• Define and enforce coding standards, testing practices, and CI/CD for SAP (e.g., CTS+, gCTS, ATC checks).
• Lead design reviews, resolve complex integration issues, and ensure audit/compliance requirements are met.

• 10+ years of SAP experience with a focus on architecture and development oversight.
• Fluency in ABAP code review and optimization; ability to mentor and uplift a dev team.
• Hands-on experience with SAP PM, MM, FI/CO, and GRC modules; strong functional awareness.
• Knowledge of integration patterns and middleware (e.g., SAP PI/PO, MuleSoft, APIs).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management in a hybrid enterprise environment.
