Senior Project Manager - Mechanical
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager - Mechanical to oversee and manage complex mechanical projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and piping, and will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and implementation of mechanical projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Manage project teams, including engineers, designers, and subcontractors, to achieve project goals.
- Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to gather requirements and provide project updates.
- Utilize software tools such as Revit, Bluebeam, and Procore for project planning, documentation, and collaboration.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress and compliance with specifications.
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders, outlining progress, challenges, and solutions.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management within the construction industry, with a focus on mechanical systems.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, piping, and process systems.
- Proficient in project management software such as Procore, and design software like Revit and Bluebeam.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage teams effectively.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
