Description:

The Ohio Attorney General's Office is currently seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual for an Executive Assistant position in the Administration Section. This position will work a hybrid in-person/remote schedule. There may be changes to this schedule based on training and operational needs. The headquarter location is our Columbus, Ohio office.

The Executive Assistant must have a strong command of Microsoft Office applications and will perform the following duties including but not limited to:

- Assists Senior Staff members in defining goals and objectives as they relate to office-wide correspondence and public relations;

- Manages calendars for Senior Staff, attends scheduling meetings to discuss request for appearances, speaking engagements and meetings, and makes recommendations regarding prioritization of requests;

- Coordinates all scheduling and briefings for events with other staff members;

- Acts on behalf of Senior Staff members in their absence, attends meetings, public functions, and conferences;

- Acts as first contact for guests visiting an executive level floor;

- Performs general administrative duties, such as answering a multiline phone; and

- Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or core undergraduate coursework in Business Administration/Management, Public Policy, Government Relations, Communications, or related field

AND

Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications.

OR

Minimum of 3 years work experience in an administrative support role.
