$48.00/hr - $50.00/hr

Job Summary

An adroit and fastidious human resource management professional focused on recruitment activities.

Objectives of this role

1. Design, develop and maintain high-quality Java applications at the company.
2. Collaborate with teams in other departments to identify and prioritise requirements.
3. Develop best practices for the company and participate in code reviews with the team and other stakeholders.
4. Conduct technical analysis to arrive at solutions and create technological artefacts in response to production issues.

Minimum Qualifications

1. A Bachelors or Masters degree in software engineering, computer science, or a related field.
2. 3+ years of demonstrable experience in Java development.
3. Strong knowledge of Java languages and web development frameworks like Spring, Hibernate, and Struts.
4. Working knowledge of database technologies (MySQL and Oracle).

Required skills and qualifications

1. Demonstrable expertise in various technical areas, including programming, network administration, and software installation and configuration.
2. 3+ years of experience in software development, database management, or a role with similar responsibilities.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with organisational capabilities.
4. Experience with IT project management methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum.
5. Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).

Preferred skills and qualifications

1. Relevant certifications such as Oracle Certified Professional (OCP).
2. Knowledge of cloud computing technologies (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
3. Familiarity with agile software development methodologies (Agile or Scrum).
4. Experience with DevOps practices and tools (Git, Jenkins, and Docker).
5. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with good teamwork capabilities.
