General Foreman - Linetec

Our General Foremen provide leadership and direction to construction crews. You will be accountable for all aspects of each project to which your crews are assigned. You will function as an advocate and role model for Linetec Services commitments and values and ensure the highest standards of safety, quality and productivity.

CDL strongly preferred

Plan, coordinate and supervise all crews on assigned projects

Meet aggressive deadlines, including weekly submittal of complete and accurate timekeeping and paperwork on job progress & costs

Manage work sequences to meet construction schedules

Meet customer requirements in daily operations

Resolve complaints and grievances within the workforce

Enforce Linetec Services safety, quality and performance standards

Complete required company training, including safety training

Perform Administrative and Lineman duties as required

Other duties as requested by leadership

High school diploma or GED required

Minimum 5 years' experience in the electrical services industry required

Prior experience as an Electrical Services Foreman required

OSHA Competent Person Certified and OSHA 30 preferred

Knowledge and skill in using a computer

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, must be very detail oriented

Possess strong organizational and time management skills

Ability to understand plans/blueprints to ensure projects meet all building/code requirements

Proven success in meeting critical deadlines under stressful conditions

Strong sense of personal responsibility

Commitment to doing quality work while putting safety first

Work sites are outdoors in potentially extreme weather conditions

All worksite safety instructions are written and spoken in English; must be fluent in English

Work includes prolonged and repeated: lifting (including overhead, up to 50lbs); standing; climbing; kneeling; reaching and feeling; crouching and crawling

Work is performed within the "red zone" of heavy equipment

Working safely requires quick/accurate hand-eye coordination and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner

Pass pre-employment, random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion drug screens

Provide valid US work authorization documents for E-Verify

Satisfactory results of pre-employment background check results

Valid driver's license with clean driving record is required

Pre-employment medical fit-for-duty test; hold/obtain DOT medical card
