Construction Project Director – Mission Critical

A leading construction firm is seeking a Project Director to oversee large-scale, complex projects in the mission-critical sector. This role combines technical expertise with executive-level project leadership and client development.

Location: US-based, with extensive travel (70%+).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project delivery from planning through closeout, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and profitability.
• Build and manage cross-functional teams, driving collaboration and performance.
• Develop project strategies, budgets, schedules, and risk mitigation plans.
• Oversee stakeholder communication with clients, executives, and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and promote innovation in construction processes.
• Support new business efforts and play a key role in organizational growth.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant experience, including 5+ in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record managing $100M+ projects in construction, infrastructure, or technology-related industries.
• Experience working for a large general contractor.
• Strong leadership, team management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
• Familiarity with tools such as Procore, P6, BIM, and other project management systems.
• US driver's license, valid passport, and high willingness to travel.
