Job DescriptionJob DescriptionKable Staffing is in urgent need of an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic in Groveport, OH. This position is a full-time, Direct hire opportunity. FULL JOB DESCRIPTIONPRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintains and repairs all mechanical facilities and physical structures throughout the plant including pumps, boilers, air, water, reactor
• Uses hand and power tools in performing tasks
• Diagnoses problems, tears down, repairs and re-assembles intricate mechanisms and machines
• Installs, adjusts tests, troubleshoots, repairs, and modifies various electrical/mechanical equipment, electrical controls, PLC's and instrumentation.
• Performs repairs on buildings, roofs, structures and furniture
• Assists technicians and performs other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

• HS Diploma or GED required, additional education/certifications
• Must be available for possible mandatory overtime and weekend work
• Must be able to pass pre-employment background check, drug screen, and physical
• Strong troubleshooting skills and mechanical aptitude
• Must have work experience in the following areas and be able to take a test demonstrating proficiency in Arc welding, Mig welding. TIG welding, Stick welding, PLCs, Electric, VFDs, HVAC, Pumps, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Gearboxes
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
• Ability to move or lift up to 50+ lbs.
• Ability to reach, grasp, hold, push, pull, bend, twist, squat, climb, kneel.
• Ability to utilize hand/eye coordination.
• Capability to stand for prolonged periods of time
• Communication skills.
