About the Role:

We are seeking a Lead Toddler Teacher to join our team at our Livingston team. As a Lead Toddler Teacher, you will be responsible for creating and implementing a developmentally appropriate curriculum for children aged 18 months to 3 years old. You will work closely with our team of educators to ensure that each child receives individualized attention and care. Your role will be critical in fostering a safe and nurturing environment that promotes learning and growth.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent and 1+ years experience working with toddlers in a licensed childcare center or comparable setting
  • CPL III or Child Development Associate Certificate upon hire
  • Ability to pass BCI/FBI and ODJFS Background Check
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other staff members and parents
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field with 1+ years experience
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification
Responsibilities:
  • Create and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum for toddlers

You will communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's progress, requiring excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also collaborate with other educators to ensure a safe and nurturing environment, requiring teamwork and collaboration. Additionally, you will need to maintain a clean and organized classroom environment, requiring attention to detail and organizational skills. Finally, you may utilize your preferred qualifications, such as being bilingual in English and Spanish or having certification in CPR and First Aid, to better serve our diverse population.
