Transformer Assembler

Pay: $19.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Overtime available)

About the Role

This hands-on role works closely with engineering and plant management, offering opportunities to grow and make an impact.

What You'll Do

• Cut and prepare steel to exact measurements (+/- .002).

• Assemble transformers and stack laminated steel cores.

• Insert coils and complete assembly to specifications.

• Safely operate equipment: transformer test tools, ratchet gun, strip cutting machines, air tools, band saw, belt sander, hoist, and shears.

• Follow all safety and company policies.

• Support the team with additional duties as needed.

• Work overtime when required (great opportunity to boost earnings!).

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• 4+ years of experience in a similar assembly or mechanical role.

• Strong mechanical ability and attention to detail.

• Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.

• Ability to read and interpret instructions, blueprints, and measurement tools (rules, calipers, micrometers).

• Team-oriented with good communication skills.

• Safety-conscious and eager to learn.

Pay Details: $19.00 per hour
