Brookdale is seeking an Executive Director to support Brookdale Muirfield
In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of this 84-apartment assisted living and memory care community. You will maintain occupancy, oversee monthly financial performance, supervise staff, and foster positive relationships with residents, family members, and employees.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's Degree required. Minimum of three years related operational leadership experience required.
- Senior Living experience is required!
- Understanding of hiring, training, evaluating, motivating, and disciplining personnel.
- Business development, sales & marketing experience.
- Ability to multi-task & be flexible.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of technology, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and electronic documentation.

Base pay will be determined by skills and experience. Full-time roles are eligible for bonuses. Temporary associates may participate in the 401(k).

Responsibilities
Leads daily operations of a community with 60-175 units, overseeing staff, resident engagement, financial performance, and compliance. Develops and executes business plans to grow revenue and reputation, manages budgets, and drives sales. Fosters an inclusive community culture, maintains resident satisfaction, and partners with clinical leaders for care quality. Ensures property standards, enforces policies, and maintains licenses.
Creates strategic relationships with the community and external stakeholders, and promotes community visibility and engagement.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years of operational leadership; experience may substitute for education.
- Valid licenses and driver's license with vehicle access.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and make sound decisions.
Physical Demands & Working Conditions
- Standing, walking, sitting, handling, reaching, stooping, hearing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and other physical activities.
- Interaction with residents, staff, and vendors.
- Occasional evenings, weekends, on-call, and travel.
