What Lab Business Analytics contributes to Cardinal Health
Lab Business Analytics drives operational excellence of the Lab business unit by equipping the Lab Sales teams, Lab Marketing team, and Lab Global Sourcing team with solutions to optimize performance and make strategically guided decisions.
Accountabilities
The Data Analyst, Lab Business Analytics is a key role is within the Lab Business Analytics team that creates value by developing tools, processes, and insights to increase the operating discipline of the Lab business.
Key functions:
Partnering with the Lab Product Marketing team, Lab Channel Marketing team, and Lab Global Sourcing team for advancing business initiatives through standardized and ad-hoc reporting and analysis.
Actively engaged in managing a suite of essential Tableau tools with focus on continuous improvement to enhance support to our stakeholders
Evaluates and develops data integration and quality control processes and make improvement recommendations.
Uses data visualization to unify data and present a clear picture of trends and insights derived from trusted sources

The Data Analyst, Lab Business Analytics role requires very strong data and technical understanding, and an emphasis on business partnership and process quality. This role has a few key skills and attitudes that are required:
Requires the ability to develop strong partnerships, learn how the Lab business operates, and communicate both technically and strategically
Requires an owner mentality and a focus on sustainable results
Requires a knowledge of data workflow and visualization development
Requires the ability to manage the full development pipeline, including gathering requirements, data sourcing and transformation, tool build, deployment, and ongoing maintenance and enhancements
Requires an ability to identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency through the consolidation and automation of standard processes
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in technical field, related field, or equivalent work experience preferred
Strong working knowledge in Tableau and Microsoft office tools
Microsoft SQL Server/Management Studio or other relational database, Lean Six Sigma, Salesforce.com, Alteryx, SAP Business Objects, and Google Cloud platform experience a plus
Demonstrated success in process improvement
Demonstrated ability to identify and troubleshoot critical issues
4+ years experience in related field preferred

Anticipated salary range: $79,700 - $113,800
