Summary: Join Meta as a Data Scientist and be at the forefront of shaping innovative products across our family of applications including Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp, and Oculus. Utilize your technical expertise and analytical thinking on one of the most extensive data sets globally to enhance the experiences for billions of users and millions of businesses. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, Research, Data Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Finance to address product and business challenges effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze large and complex data sets to resolve diverse challenges through various statistical and analytical methods.
• Apply quantitative analysis, experimentation, data mining, and effective data presentation to craft strategies for products serving a massive global audience.
• Identify and track success metrics to assess product initiatives, helping to forecast trends effectively.
• Uncover opportunities to enhance products and guide roadmaps using your insights and recommendations.
• Collaborate proactively with Product, Engineering, and other teams to influence and execute product strategy and make informed investment decisions.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in analytics, proficient in SQL, Python, and/or R.
• Demonstrated experience in solving analytical challenges, understanding user behaviors, and managing data-driven projects from commencement to execution.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's or Ph.D. in a quantitative discipline.

Compensation: $145,000/year to $204,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits.
