Required Skills:

As a Data Infrastructure Engineer, your role would include:

1. Crafting, modeling, and executing data warehousing strategies to establish a robust data foundation that enhances decision-making.

2. Building and launching complex data models and visualizations that cater to diverse use cases across various products and domains.

3. Partnering with engineers, product managers, and data scientists to grasp data needs and present key insights visually in a compelling manner.

4. Establishing and overseeing service level agreements (SLA) for all data sets under your purview.

5. Contributing to frameworks that enhance data logging effectiveness and collaborating with data infrastructure teams to address issues.

6. Implementing security protocols in line with privacy requirements, ensuring adherence to safeguards, tackling data quality challenges, and enhancing governance processes.

7. Resolving complex data integration challenges using optimal ETL patterns, frameworks, querying techniques, and sourced data from structured and unstructured environments.

8. Streamlining pipelines, dashboards, frameworks, and systems to simplify the development of data assets.

9. Influencing product and cross-functional teams to uncover data-driven opportunities that generate significant impact.

10. Engaging with diverse problems where analyzing data necessitates evaluating identifiable factors.

11. Exercising sound judgment in selecting appropriate methods and techniques for problem-solving.

Minimum Qualifications:

To be considered, you should meet the following criteria:

1. Holding a Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field, along with three years of experience in a related role.

2. A minimum of three years of experience in the following areas:

   1. ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) design, implementation, and maintenance on a large scale.

   2. Crafting SQL queries.

   3. Analyzing vast data sets to derive insights, identify deliverables, and recognize gaps and inconsistencies.

   4. Understanding data warehousing architecture and strategic planning.

   5. Experience with Informatica, Talend, Pentaho, dimensional data modeling, or schema design.

Public Compensation:

$200,066/year to $208,069/year + bonus + equity + benefits
