Summary

The Project Manager is responsible for oversight of budget, schedule, and scope of projects in their respective area.

  • Manage the steps of project kickoff and ensure appropriate resources and client expectations are set and communicated throughout the project.
  • Ensure project details are entered into and updated in the appropriate systems to allow for budget and deliverable tracking; review and approve time tracking for project team members.
  • Analyze risk while finding and allocating resources accordingly based on ongoing communication.
  • Ensure all appropriate internal and external stakeholders are kept up to date and informed on the various aspects of projects.
  • Run and present various reports that regard project status.
  • Visit job sites to review project status and execution.
  • Forecasting and financial evaluation of projects.
  • Work closely with the accounting department and resolve accounts payable and accounts receivable issues.
  • Submit billing information to accounting and work to resolve any billing issues.
  • Draft and submit change order requests and track the status of change orders.
  • Perform project document control and ensure accurate information is collected and retained.
  • Oversee the creation of job packets and ensure dissemination to appropriate parties.
  • Maintain communication and ongoing relationships with customers.
  • Manage subcontractors and ensure completion of duties, billing, and general oversight in alignment with contracted services.
  • Conflict management of project parties to ensure customer standards and satisfaction are met.
Qualifications

Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree specializing in business administration, construction management or another relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of project management experience or a combination of relevant experience.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 Suite of products; specifically, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize, manage, and execute tasks on competing projects.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with various parties.
  • Exhibit strong attention to detail, ensure precision and accuracy in all tasks and deliverables.
  • Ability to identify issues and utilize effective problem-solving skills to design solutions.
  • Effective time management skills, optimize productivity and meet project deadlines.
  • Ability to apply critical thinking skills to analyze complex problems, break them down into manageable components, and formulate effective solutions.
  • Ability to remain agile in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
