Contribute to an Application Delivery Team developing software applications and systems, creating or enhancing content, products and solutions for a scientific information services company. Collaborate with teammates and product owners grooming backlogs of epics and stories for upcoming development sprints. Advance state-of-the-art software engineering by helping to drive automated builds and software testing, advanced change control, and continuous delivery. Stay abreast of the latest technology trends through individual and team training opportunities.

Job Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer or Software Engineering, or a related field.

  1. Five (5) years of progressive application delivery and software development experience.

  1. Other experience and skills must include:


  • Java/Linux technology stack including advanced-level application development experience, application servers, middle tier (Spring MVC), backend processing, and the web tier (Angular).
  • Automated Testing, Test-driven Development, debugging, troubleshooting, optimizing code and operations.
  • Programming languages including Java, JavaScript (Angular), SQL, and XML.
  • RDBMS databases.
  • Spring, Spring Boot, Struts, JMS, J2EE, REST, SOAP, Cucumber, IntelliJ, Eclipse, JUnit, Mockito, Spock, Jenkins, GitHub, and Tomcat.
  • Agile, Waterfall, and Test-Driven Development.

  1. Must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
