Position Overview

The QCxM will collaborate with project teams to implement and manage project-specific quality programs and procedures, ensuring adherence to work planning procedures and documentation across multiple projects.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

  • Knowledge of building codes and regulations including Life Safety, BOCA, NFPA, NEC, OSHA
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in electrical construction, Quality Control, or Commissioning
  • Ability to interpret specifications, submittals, diagrams, and contract documents
  • Strong computer skills and familiarity with construction management software and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in decision-making roles, self-motivated, analytical mindset

Mandatory Hiring Requirements

  • References, Background Check, Drug Screen, Valid Driver's License

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote a quality culture emphasizing "Implement Quality from the Start"
  • Identify and implement operational improvements
  • Oversee the implementation of quality and commissioning programs on projects
  • Maintain relationships with stakeholders to ensure quality standards
  • Manage documentation and verification of equipment and project activities
  • Coordinate inspections and energization processes
  • Lead audits, assessments, and incident investigations
  • Prepare reports and evaluations
  • Assess and mitigate quality risks

Position Requirements

  • No license required
  • Construction Quality Control Management for Contractors (CQMC) Certificate
  • Construction Quality Manager (CCQM) Certificate
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field
  • Knowledge of mission critical construction quality processes

Working Conditions

  • Work in various weather conditions and environments
  • Use of personal protective equipment required
  • Physical ability to perform tasks including lifting, climbing, and working at heights
