Position Type: Part-Time

Average Hours: Less than 30 hours weekly

Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour

Wage Increases: Year 2 - $18.50 | Year 3 - $19.00 | Year 4 - $19.00 | Year 5 - $20.00

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work collaboratively with your team and communicate essential information to your direct leader.
• Ensure the security and confidentiality of documents and data within your area of responsibility.
• Perform additional assigned duties as needed.

Cashier Responsibilities:

• Process customer purchases efficiently and thoroughly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the store.
• Provide exceptional customer service, assisting shoppers with inquiries and needs.
• Relay feedback to management on inventory issues, scanning errors, and product quality.
• Participate in inventory counts following guidelines.
• Adhere to cash handling policies to help minimize losses.

Stock Associate Responsibilities:

• Stock shelves efficiently, ensuring product rotation to guarantee freshness.
• Follow merchandising display plans for optimal product presentation.
• Organize new inventory, break down empty boxes, and maintain a tidy work area.
• Operate machinery safely while adhering to all safety procedures.

Physical Demands:

• Regular tasks may require sitting, standing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, and walking about the store.
• Stock Associates must be able to lift products weighing up to 45 pounds and place them on shelving at varying heights.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to deliver prompt and courteous customer service.
• Willingness to perform general cleaning duties following company standards.
• Ability to interpret and adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
• Effective time management skills.
• Knowledge of ALDI products and services.
• Cashiers should be able to operate a cash register accurately.
• Stock Associates should have morning availability, with shifts starting as early as 5:00 a.m.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience is a plus.
• A combination of education and experience may fulfill requirements.
