Ohio Ready Mix is hiring a CDL A or CDL B Local Ready Mix Concrete Truck Driver in Marysville, OH. The driver will deliver ready-mixed concrete and other associated products from batch plants to construction sites and homes in a safe and efficient manner, while maintaining a clean and safe ready-mix truck. Compensation

• Weekly pay: $1,200 to $1,500 or more per week
  • Hourly Rate: $25 starting wage with an average of 55 hours per week during busy season
  • Guaranteed Pay - 40 hour minimum weekly guarantee year around of $1000.00
  • Straight time up to 40 hours and time and a half after 40 hours

• Home Time: Home Daily
• Schedule: 1st shift, varying early morning start times; 10 - 12 hour shifts; Overtime after 40 hours worked

• Minimum age 25 or 21 with clean driving record
• Valid Class A or Class B License
• Job training provided
• Clean motor vehicle record (MVR)
• Must be able to pass a background check, drug test and Department of Transportation (DOT) physical
• Must be able to climb in and out of the truck when delivering concrete and lift extension chutes and other items weighing between 25 and 75 pounds, at least 30 percent of the time.
• Pre-trip inspections of ready-mix trucks pursuant to D.O.T. regulations.
• Safely loads and promptly delivers ready-mixed concrete to job sites as dispatched while maintaining positive customer and public relations.
• Performs related loading and unloading operations with ready-mixed concrete delivery truck in an efficient safe manner.
• Performs regular maintenance and cleaning inside of concrete drum as required.
• Rinses chutes and rear of truck free of spilled concrete and returns truck to batch plant following EPA regulations. Assists concrete block molds and production, as needed.
• Keeps the inside of cab clean and sanitary. Performs daily cleaning and routine maintenance of truck.
• Performs other functions and duties as required or directed.
• Hiring Radius: Drivers must live within 25 miles of Marysville, OH or be willing to relocate for this position
