We are currently looking to grow our team out of the New Albany, OH market! We seek an Associate Director, Project Controls, focusing on growth within the advanced manufacturing market, including life sciences, semiconductor, and data center sectors.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Partner with other service line leaders to provide an integrated project approach to clients.
  • Perform Project Controls services on complex, high-priority projects, including capital planning, project governance, front-end planning, funding, cost management, schedule control, risk management, and project close-out.
  • Engage in business development to defend existing positions and expand revenue.
  • Participate in resource management, including talent acquisition, retention, and development.
  • Manage profitability, labor productivity, and volume goals for assigned teams and projects.
  • Prepare fee proposals and negotiate service agreements.
  • Coach and mentor team members, ensuring quality deliverables.
  • Provide insights and suggestions to senior leadership on cost management operations.
  • Oversee major client accounts or portfolios as the primary contact.

Knowledge & Skills Required

  • Technical competency in project controls, including capital planning, project governance, funding, cost management, schedule control, and risk management.
  • Leadership in designing and executing programs aligned with organizational strategies.
  • Ability to influence change and develop scalable solutions.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with clients and regional/global teams.
  • Experience with ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, and project management software such as Primavera and MS Project.
  • Proficiency in analytical/reporting software like Power BI and project information systems like Procore or ACC Buil

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, QS, Architecture, or related field.
  • 14+ years in Project Controls with 5+ years leading client expectations.
  • Preferred certifications: MRICS, CPE, CCE, CEP, PMP, Six Sigma.
