Job Title: Facilities Operations Manager

Department: Student Life | Building and Mechanical Services

Job Description

Responsible for daily operations management related to facilities maintenance in The Office of Student Life buildings (approximately 6.2 million gross square feet). Acts as the single point of contact for facilities-related work, oversees delivery of maintenance services, supervises managers and staff, coordinates facility needs (capital, security, safety, utilities, inventory, equipment), and ensures customer satisfaction. Trains, develops, and supervises staff, manages contractors, and promotes environmental sustainability initiatives. Reports to the Sr. Associate Director for Student Life Facilities. Typically works first shift (7:00 AM to 4:00 PM), but hours may vary, including 24/7 emergency availability. This position is designated as essential per university policy.

Qualifications

Required: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, 5 years of relevant experience in building maintenance, custodial, grounds, and operations, customer service skills, valid Driver's License.

Desired: 8-12 years of relevant experience, 2 years of supervisory experience, technical maintenance skills.

Additional Information

Compensation: $88,300 - $115,350

Location: Lincoln Tower (0271)

Position Type: Regular, 40 hours/week, First Shift
