We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join our Materials Finance team. This role offers a unique hands-on opportunity to partner cross-functionally with our Materials Operating team by supporting expense management, contributing to financial close processes, and enhancing our forecasting and planning capabilities—all while gaining valuable experience in Supply Chain finance.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Execute finance activities, planning / pacing, and closing activities:
  • Ensure expenses are accurate, including partnering with Controllership where necessary
  • Provide variance explanations on financial and operational drivers of variances for close reviews
  • Lead forecasting activities, and analyze operational trends with focus on resulting financial impacts
  • Lead long-range financial planning for Materials organization
  • Provide finance leadership to Materials CFO and Operating team on month end, weekly and daily reporting on as needed basis.
  • Integrate operational KPI's into reporting to help articulate results and trends
• Partner with the Materials team to identify opportunities for operational cost reduction continuous improvement using flight deck fundamentals
• Support Materials Operations team with ad hoc requests, including SSS approvals, financial data requests, etc.
• Partner across Supply Chain Finance to evolve reporting capabilities for both Materials and Supply Chain Finance
• Lead annual FPRP process for Materials team
• Develop standard work and continuous improvement projects, as well as build-out of SOP's, related to close and planning activities
• May lead small projects to support Materials priorities / initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with 2-3 years of professional experience
