Responsibilities

• Efficiently bag groceries at checkout while aiming for at least five items per bag, ensuring items are undamaged.
• Assist customers by removing merchandise from their carts and offer to help load bags into their cars.
• Inform customers about grocery specials and assist in shelf conditioning.
• Return any merchandise to store shelves and gather shopping carts to designated areas.
• Maintain cleanliness by cleaning spills, picking up trash inside the store and parking lot, and ensuring all areas remain tidy.
• Handle seasonal merchandise and understand the store layout to assist customers in locating products and conducting price checks.
• Promote safety by following safety procedures and reporting any unsafe conditions to management.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and conduct preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Create a friendly environment by answering customer questions and providing support to customers of all ages and needs.

• Basic customer service and effective communication skills.
• Previous retail experience is a plus, but not required.
