Job Description

AECOM is seeking talented Senior Project Managers to be based in various locations including Los Angeles, Orange, Denver, Detroit, Dallas, Houston, Columbus, and Cleveland.

The Senior Project Manager will lead interdisciplinary projects, focus on client service, and meet business expectations. Responsibilities include supporting proposal efforts, managing client relationships, and overseeing scope, schedule, budget, and quality across the project lifecycle—from conceptual studies to design and construction administration.

Active engagement in AECOM's collaborative design process and seeking innovative solutions are essential. The candidate should be proactive with strong communication, organizational, and technical skills to manage multi-disciplinary teams and interface with clients.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Leading project delivery from proposal to client handover.
  • Managing client relationships and stakeholder engagement.
  • Developing project guidelines and success metrics.
  • Managing project scope, schedule, costs, and quality.
  • Monitoring project progress and performance.
  • Performing risk management.
  • Managing project documentation and team coordination.
  • Understanding contractual and business aspects of project management.
  • Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Communicating effectively with all stakeholders.
  • Leading project pursuits and identifying new business opportunities.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Accredited Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field + 6 years of experience or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Architecture or Professional Engineer licensure.
  • 10+ years of experience managing A/E projects.
  • Experience with vertical design projects, government clients, and various contract types.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and client management skills.
  • Knowledge of design software and project management best practices.

Additional Information

Offered salary ranges from $120,000 to $150,000, depending on location and experience.#J-18808-Ljbffr
