DIRECTOR OF NETWORK PERFORMANCE | WFH Toledo Market


Primary Function/General Purpose of Position

The Director of Network Operations is responsible for the overall network development, transformation, and integration strategy for the markets clinically integrated network. Additionally, the Director is responsible for the market's performance on value based contracts focusing on delivering on cost and quality.


Essential Job Functions

- Oversees program administration and directs day-to-day operations of the market's Clinically Integrated Networks, including Bon Secours Mercy Health hospitals and employed providers, affiliated independent providers, and multiple independent affiliated and post-acute community organizations.

- Partners with key leadership in the market to recruit, onboard and manage providers in the market's clinically integrated network

- Supports the continued growth and evolution of the clinically integrated network to secure adequate geographic coverage and achieves a targeted ambulatory care footprint.

- Work collaboratively with System Dir of Physician and Provider Relations to manage and support the Physicians and Provider Relationship Managers in the market

- Work with the System Dir of Government Programs and Network Development to maintain and manage the provider roster process.

- Leads and organizes the market's Clinically Integrated Network governance structures to receive input from local physician leadership on the development and execution of the clinically integrated network.

- Works collaboratively with the clinically integrated network medical leadership to transform the care model and achieve clinical quality.

- Serves as the key liaison for the interpretation, communication and performance of the clinical and quality initiatives for stakeholders across the market's clinically integrated network

- Leads the Physician Provider Relationship Managers to actively engage with physicians and their teams throughout the community to constantly improve how Bon Secours Mercy Health delivers the Triple Aim - better outcomes, better patient experience at a lower cost - for their patients

- Works collaboratively with Epic leadership to assess the deployment of Epic to affiliates providers in the network. Helps coordinate the implementation of Epic or other electronic tools for affiliated providers.

- Lead and manage the Population Health compliance program.

- Acts as a resource and assists management and staff in complying with applicable laws and regulations relative to the market's Clinically Integrated Network

- Lead and support additional population health programs such as bundles, director to employer programs for the region.

Education

Bachelor's Degree


Preferred: Graduate Degree - MHA, MBA or Master's degree in a related field of study or equivalent experience


Work Experience

Seven years of progressively responsible experience leading multiple business units and functions within the healthcare industry

A high degree of demonstrated executive knowledge, both practical and theoretical, and spanning multiple aspects of the industry (managed care, group practice management, multi-hospital, etc.).
