Project Director – Major Power Plant Build

Join a leader in energy transformation as Project Director for one of the most ambitious on-site power generation projects in the U.S.—a multi-phase 1,344 MW combined cycle plant in Millersport, Ohio. You'll lead the project from initial development (488 MW phase) through full buildout, overseeing strategy, execution, and delivery.

What You'll Do:

Lead the entire project lifecycle: development, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and handover

Direct due diligence, feasibility, and risk assessments

Define procurement strategy and manage commercial negotiations with contractors and suppliers

Drive execution through schedule, budget, and quality control oversight

Ensure regulatory and HSE compliance, while advancing sustainability and innovation goals

Manage stakeholder relationships with utilities, contractors, regulators, and internal leadership

Oversee closeout, handover to O&M, warranty claims, and post-launch support

Promote digitalization and continuous improvement across the project team

What You Bring:

15+ years leading large-scale energy infrastructure projects

Proven experience with combined cycle plants, distributed energy systems, and utility-scale builds

Strong knowledge of EPC contracts, project finance models, and construction law

Familiarity with safety, environmental, and QA/QC standards (OSHA, ISO, EPA)

Ability to lead high-performing teams and manage complex stakeholder environments

Bachelor's in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical); PMP or IPMA preferred
