Position: Senior Copywriter

Location: Columbus, OH 43229

Contract Length: 3 months to start – potential for extension or conversion

Pay Rate: $40-70/hr

Work Schedule:

• In-office: Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays
• Remote: Wednesdays and Fridays

Overview:

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Copywriter who is passionate about storytelling and excels at crafting compelling, high-quality content. This role is central to maintaining the voice and messaging consistency across the brand and its portfolio of companies. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative environment and is comfortable working across a variety of formats and departments.

Must-Haves:

• Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field
• Experience in agency, luxury, or retail industries
• 6+ years of professional writing experience
• Strong creative writing background
• Advanced ability to craft copy that aligns with industry best practices and adapts to various brand voices and channels
• Highly collaborative; works well with designers, project managers, and cross-functional teams
• Proven versatility in writing for web, internal/external communications, technical, and creative projects
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat
• Exceptional grammar and style knowledge

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Serve as the lead storyteller for the world's leader in private aviation
• Develop original, engaging content that differentiates the brand
• Write across a wide range of formats: emails, newsletters, collateral, video scripts, digital media, co-branded content, and more
• Conduct research and interviews to inform content
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure messaging consistency and alignment
• Contribute to editorial process management to ensure timely and effective content delivery
• Create 100% original content, including thank-you cards, welcome signage, internal newsletters, and personalized notes to Owners
• All work will be proofread by a separate team
