The Planning Consultant manages, coordinates, and develops clinical planning projects. They assist with strategic planning activities, budget forecasting, and other projects throughout the healthcare system. The Consultant executes and communicates complex analyses to Hospital and Medical Staff leadership through business plans, project coordination, and in-depth examination of business and market environments.

Valid Ohio driver's license and proof of auto insurance are required by hospital policy. Must pass a motor vehicle background check, insurance eligibility, driving qualifications, and training set forth by Nationwide Children's Hospital. Must maintain qualification of insurance guidelines.

- Coordinates project resources and manages project teams to ensure tasks are completed on time and within budget.
- Coordinates with stakeholders to identify requirements and scope. Communicates project status and updates.
- Identifies and manages project risks, issues, and dependencies to minimize delays.
- Conducts evaluations to identify improvements and implements changes as needed.

Education Requirement:- Bachelor's Degree in Hospital/Health Administration, Business Administration, Planning, Computer Science, or related field, required.

Experience:- One year of academic and/or professional experience in systems planning required; healthcare experience preferred.
- One year of experience in healthcare business development and physician relations required.
