Position Summary:
The Access & Reimbursement Manager (ARM) is a subject matter expert on access & reimbursement for FILSPARI (Sparsentan), working remotely within their assigned geography to provide education and case-specific support to stakeholders including healthcare providers (HCPs) and sales teams. The ARM must have extensive expertise in navigating insurance and access barriers and will proactively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, such as supporting the sales team, working with Hub and pharmacy partners, and updating reports.
Responsibilities
Proactive Office Support Throughout FILSPARI Onboarding:
* Serve as the key contact for patient access and reimbursement support in the assigned region
* Develop expertise in the FILSPARI onboarding process from Patient Start Form (PSF) submission to reimbursement
* Guide offices through the onboarding process, including PSF completion, REMS enrollment, prior authorization, and reimbursement steps
* Monitor cases through the onboarding process
Escalated Support for Complex Cases
* Identify and resolve complex patient access issues, collaborating with HCPs, Hub, and pharmacy partners
* Assist with missing information in PSFs or REMS forms and coordinate with relevant teams
* Resolve access issues related to prior authorization, appeals, denials, and medical necessity letters
* Partner with stakeholders to communicate challenges and solutions, ensuring patient progress
Sales Force Communication / Partnership
* Regularly update case statuses and educate sales on reimbursement complexities
* Log interactions and lead weekly status meetings
* Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate case progress
* Ensure compliance with HIPAA and program guidelines
Trend Identification and Education
* Provide regional access landscape insights and anticipate healthcare changes
* Develop quarterly plans to address reimbursement barriers
* Educate internal teams and HCPs on payer trends and policy changes
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
* 5+ years in pharmaceutical or healthcare, with 3+ years in reimbursement/access/case management
* Experience in specialty pharma, nephrology, or rare diseases preferred
* Strong relationship-building skills with HCPs and internal teams
* Knowledge of insurance reimbursement, payer policies, and healthcare regulations
* Proficiency in basic computer skills and virtual education capabilities
* Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
* Willingness to travel up to 35% and meet credentialing requirements
Total Rewards: Travere offers comprehensive benefits including health, retirement, paid time off, and a competitive compensation package with base pay and incentives. The target base salary range is $158,000 - $205,000, depending on experience and location.
