Job Details

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Manager(Who resides in the the Columbus, Ohio area) to lead our quality assurance and control initiatives. The Quality Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a system of quality and reliability testing for the organization's products and/or processes. This role ensures that our products and services meet all necessary requirements before they reach the customer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement quality management systems (QMS) and procedures.
• Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics.
• Conduct internal audits and coordinate external audits.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and certifications (e.g., ISO 9001)
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.
• Train and mentor staff on quality standards and best practices.
• Manage documentation and records related to quality assurance.
• Interface with customers and suppliers regarding quality issues.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in quality management or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of quality standards and regulations.
• Experience with quality tools and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, FMEA, SPC).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Certification such as CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) or CQM/OE (Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence) is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with ERP and QMS software.
• Led a team of 5 direct reports
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
