As a senior member of the engineering team, you will lead advanced NDE projects, drive technical excellence, and play a key role in expanding service capabilities and market presence. This position is ideal for someone with a strong academic foundation, practical industry experience, and a passion for both technological advancement and commercial growth.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead research and development initiatives in emerging NDE technologies and methods
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, high-quality NDE solutions
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and client engagements
  • Supervise and mentor junior engineers and research staff
  • Represent the organization at technical conferences, client meetings, and industry events
  • Author technical papers, proposals, and reports to support funding and growth efforts
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements


Qualifications

  • PhD or Master's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related field
  • Proven expertise in Nondestructive Evaluation methods (e.g., ultrasonic, radiographic, eddy current, thermography)
  • A strong record of research and publication in NDE technologies
  • Demonstrated experience in business development and client relationship management
  • Minimum 10 years of industry or research experience in NDE
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills


Preferred Attributes

  • Experience securing and managing R&D funding (e.g., government grants, industry partnerships)
  • Familiarity with digital NDE tools, data analytics, and automation trends
  • Established professional network in the NDE or broader materials engineering community
