Construction Project Administrator

Location: Columbus, OH

Were looking for a Construction Project Administrator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings strong organizational and communication skills. This role is essential to supporting the smooth execution of construction projects from pre-construction through closeout.

What Youll Do:

• Coordinate and manage administrative tasks across all phases of construction projects
• Maintain and organize project documentation (contracts, submittals, RFIs, change orders, permits, and drawings)
• Track project schedules, deadlines, inspections, and key milestones
• Assist with budgeting, expense tracking, and invoice processing
• Communicate with subcontractors, vendors, clients, and internal teams
• Support procurement and monitor material deliveries
• Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and distribute notes to project stakeholders
• Maintain well-organized digital and physical filing systems
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations

What You Bring:

• 2+ years of experience in construction or project administration
• Associate or bachelors degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
• Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Adobe Professional
• Experience with construction software like Procore or ComputerEase is a plus
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
