LOCATION: Rank & Rally is searching for a Director of Retail in Ohio, Michigan, or Illinois for potential future business opportunities. We seek experienced retail leaders passionate about creating excellent guest experiences and exceeding sales goals.

Job Summary

1. Oversee all venue retail operations, including event-day and non-event-day activities
2. Manage inventory, merchandising, and visual displays
3. Train and supervise full-time and part-time retail staff
4. Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue goals
5. Coordinate with marketing and partnerships to align retail with brand initiatives
6. Monitor performance metrics and drive process improvements
7. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and loss prevention programs
8. Lead and manage all retail staff, fostering a culture of high performance and collaboration
9. Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring effective communication
10. Oversee buying strategies and revenue management to optimize profitability
11. Ensure effective merchandising practices to enhance the fan experience and maximize sales
12. Analyze market trends to inform strategic decisions and drive growth
13. Report on performance metrics and provide insights to clients and senior management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, or related field (preferred)
• 5+ years of retail leadership experience, preferably in sports or entertainment
• Proficiency with POS systems and inventory management software
• Experience managing merchandising, buying, and inventory controls
• Familiarity with financial planning and P&L responsibility
