Your role as a Human Resource Generalist


We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our team in our Ohio office. This role is ideal for an HR professional with at least two years of experience who is passionate about creating a welcoming and effective onboarding experience for new hires, while also supporting day-to-day HR operations. The HR Generalist will play a key role in driving positive employee experience and supporting our growing workforce.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience from offer acceptance through their first weeks.
  • Conduct new hire orientation sessions and assist with employee paperwork, I-9s, and background checks.
  • Support recruitment efforts by posting jobs, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews as needed.
  • Assist with employee relations by responding to inquiries and escalating issues to HR leadership when appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in our HRIS and ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
  • Coordinate employee recognition programs, engagement activities, and office events to support a positive work culture.
  • Provide general HR support in areas such as benefits administration, leave tracking, and performance review coordination.


Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 2 years of Human Resources experience.
  • Strong understanding of HR fundamentals, particularly in onboarding and employee lifecycle management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience using an HRIS
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred but not required.
