About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Custodial Tech to join our team at Cleveland Avenue. As a Custodial Tech you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities. You will play a critical role in ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our employees and visitors. Your attention to detail and ability to work independently will be essential to your success in this role. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and benefits.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass BCI/FBI and Child Abuse Background Check
- Previous experience in custodial/maintenance work
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
- Experience with floor care equipment such as buffers and scrubbers
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their proper use
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Strong communication skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Performing routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and dusting
- Maintenance duties throughout the center
- Maintaining the cleanliness of classrooms, restrooms, break rooms and common areas
- Emptying trash and recycling bins
- Monitoring and restocking cleaning supplies
- Reporting any maintenance or safety issues to management
