We are currently seeking an experienced Sales Engineer and Account Manager in the Columbus, OH or Lexington, KY area with experience selling material handling, conveyors, controls systems, or industrial equipment to Toyota Motor Manufacturing. This is a direct hire opportunity.
Responsible for establishing and identifying accounts and concepts in the material handling systems industry. Will work with estimating to develop pricing and proposals, and negotiate contracts. Must be a highly motivated self-starter. Determine customer needs and critique proposed material handling systems to determine the likelihood of the customer purchasing. Meet with customers, review jobsites, occasional limited climbing. Identify capable subcontractors in local areas to assist Estimating in the proposal effort. This includes taking contractors on "job walks" as required. Develop close customer relationships with key decision makers in purchasing, engineering, and at the plant levels.
