Job Title: Project Manager
Location: Columbus, OH (Onsite)
Travel: Approximately 15% (Job site and office visits)
Schedule: Eligible for flex 9/80 work schedule

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Project Development Project Manager to join our team in Columbus, OH. This role is responsible for managing the entire development lifecycle of energy infrastructure projects, including transmission and substation projects ranging from 34.5kV to 500kV. The ideal candidate will have strong technical experience, organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate across multi-disciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Serve as the primary point of contact for project development efforts, including client coordination, strategic planning, budgeting, and scope management

- Oversee projects from concept through the development phase, including siting, permitting, environmental studies, estimating, engineering, right-of-way acquisition, procurement, constructability reviews, and project closeout

- Lead project kick-offs and organize cross-functional teams to clarify and refine project scope

- Guide projects from early-stage development to handoff at approximately 30% completion for execution by delivery teams

- Manage multiple concurrent projects, ensuring alignment of interdependent components and sequencing

- Collaborate with technical teams to develop construction sequences for related projects

- Maintain accurate project financials with support from cost analysis team

- Maintain and update detailed project schedules with support from scheduling team

- Apply standardized project management lifecycle processes across all projects

- Utilize engineering background to inform project decisions and streamline execution

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited program

- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in project management or design engineering (must be reflected on resume)

- Advanced certifications preferred (e.g., PE License, PMP Certification)

- High level of attention to detail and organizational skills

- Strong communication skills and professional demeanor

- Proven ability to work collaboratively across diverse technical teams to drive results
