The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime. This role requires a good understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and repair complex equipment.

salary: $50,000 - $65,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 6 AM - 4 PM
education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

• Preventive Maintenance:
  • Perform scheduled maintenance tasks, including lubrication, cleaning, and inspection of machinery and equipment.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs.
  • Identify and address potential maintenance issues before they lead to breakdowns.
• Corrective Maintenance:
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions.
  • Repair or replace defective parts and components.
  • Perform emergency repairs to minimize production downtime.
  • Test repaired equipment to ensure proper functionality.
• System Maintenance:
  • Maintain and repair electrical systems, including wiring, motors, and control panels.
  • Maintain and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems, including pumps, valves, and cylinders.
  • Maintain and repair mechanical systems, including gearboxes, bearings, and conveyors.
  • Work with PLC systems.
• Safety:
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
  • Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Ensure a safe working environment.
  • Perform Lock out tag out procedures.
• Documentation:
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
  • Document equipment repairs and modifications.
  • Create and update maintenance procedures.
• Collaboration:
  • Work closely with production and engineering teams.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to other team members.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues.

The essential functions of this role include:

wearing steel toe shoes

manual lifting up to 40lbs

standing for 8 hours at one time

working up to 8 hrs of overtime per week
