The selected candidate will perform the following duties:
We are looking for a compassionate, licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dedicated mental health team in Ohio. In this role, you will provide high-quality therapeutic services to individuals, couples, and families navigating emotional, behavioral, and relational challenges. As a key member of the care team, you'll collaborate with clients to develop and implement effective treatment plans tailored to their unique needs and goals.
Key Responsibilities

Clinical Assessment & Diagnosis
•Conduct comprehensive assessments of client's mental health status and relational dynamics.
•Utilize clinical interviews and standardized tools to diagnose mental health and relational disorders.

Therapeutic Intervention
•Provide individual, couples, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), or Systems Theory.
•Facilitate group therapy sessions as needed, focusing on issues such as communication, conflict resolution, and emotional regulation.

Treatment Planning & Progress Monitoring
•Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on client assessments and therapeutic goals.
•Monitor and document client progress, revising treatment plans as necessary to reflect changes in client needs and goals.

Client Education & Support
•Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, coping strategies and the therapeutic process.
•Provide resources and referrals, including support groups, healthcare providers, and community services, as appropriate.

Documentation & Ethical Compliance
•Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with organizational policies and legal requirements.
•Ensure compliance with ethical guidelines and state regulations governing mental health practices.

Collaborative Care
•Work closely with other mental health professionals, medical providers, and community organizations to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive support for clients.
•Participate in case consultations and multidisciplinary team meetings to enhance service delivery.

Professional Development
•Stay current with, best practices, new research, and emerging trends in marriage and family therapy.
•Pursue continuing education opportunities and maintain licensure in the state of Ohio.

Qualifications

Education & Licensure
•Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, or a closely related mental health field from an accredited institution.
•Active Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) license in the state of Ohio (required).
•Previous clinical experience in a mental health or behavioral health setting is strongly preferred.

•Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients.
•Proficient in evidence-based therapeutic techniques and modalities.
•Excellent organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
