Accounting Coordinator - Financial Reporting

Job Details and Summary:

The Accounting Coordinator - Financial Reporting - will support the Finance Team for Cameron Mitchell Restaurants, its sister company, The Rusty Bucket Restaurant and Tavern, and related entities under Cameron Mitchell Restaurants' management. This individual will report to the Director of Finance and will assist in a multitude of accounting activities, including, but not limited to, the weekly and month end close processes while maintaining accounting principles, best practices, and systems for collecting, analyzing and reporting information.

Key Responsibilities:

• Compile and record merchant processing transactions
• Gather bank statements and other related bank information.
• Update, maintain and post reoccurring financial batches for estimates.
• Assist in the reconciliations of various balance sheet accounts, including, but not limited to:
  
  • Bank Accounts
  • Prepaids
  • Other Accounts Receivable
  • Other Accruals
  • Utility Accruals
  • Intercompany Accounts
• Run various general ledger detail records for store management and operational directors.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

The right candidate for this position will share our passion for delivering genuine hospitality along with these additional qualifications:

• Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field or 2+ years or related experience in bookkeeping, a plus
• Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office & Excel (or willingness to learn)
• Previous experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP, a plus

Hourly Rate: $20-$25/hr
