Shift Details: Rotating - 7:00PM-7:30AM
Work Location: Crisis - Franklin County Crisis Care Center - Columbus, OH
Salary/Hourly Wage: $18.00 - $21.00/hour

Summary of Job: The Customer Service Specialist position acts as the receptionist for the Program. The Customer Service Specialist is also responsible for providing routine clerical and administrative support with projects as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Guest Care & Advocacy:
- Answers telephones and acts as receptionist for program, triages phones calls and gathers pertinent information from callers to accurately log the data elements of each and every call.
- Performs functions necessary for the initial registration and inputs individual's data into computer.
- Compliance & Risk Management:
- Assists in the process of gathering data necessary to perform billing and audit functions as requested.
- Keeps abreast of all federal and state regulations and laws and all Recovery Innovations policies and procedures as they presently exist and as they change or are modified.
- Understands and adheres to Recovery Innovations compliance standards as they appear in the Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policies.
- Cross Functional Collaboration:
- Oversees the use, maintenance, and repair of office equipment.
- Maintains petty cash.
- Additional Duties:
- Performs routine typing and other clerical tasks including organizing, filing, copying and faxing.
- Maintains an organized office filing system that assures confidentiality of all documents.
- Ensures the facility reception areas are neat and orderly at all times.
- Assists in the ordering and stocking of office supplies as needed.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

- Education/Licenses:
- High School Diploma or equivalent, Associate's Degree preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum of one (1) year of clerical or office experience required.
- Skills:

- Organizational skills and a high degree of accuracy.

- Must be able to pass de-escalation training, as defined by state requirements.
- Driving Requirements:
- If driving is required for this position, must meet all requirements outlined in Recovery Innovations driving policy.
- If not qualified to drive per driving policy, a Non-Driver Attestation form must be signed.
- Miscellaneous Requirement(s):
- Must be at least 18 years old unless residing in a state where funder or government regulations set a different minimum age requirement.
- Travel required based on business need.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality (HIPAA guidelines and regulations) and professionalism.

A Program Support Competency Checklist must be completed as part of the new hire onboarding process. Physical Demands:
May include work close to the eyes and substantial motions of the wrist, hands, and/or fingers. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, handling, finger dexterity; eye-hand-foot coordination, use of corrected vision; color vision; use of auditory senses. May be required to lift up to twenty (20) pounds.
Work Environment May work in an office environment or behavioral health facility. May have contact with individuals who are agitated and/or confused.

At Recovery Innovations compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
