Salary Range: $105,000 - $155,000+ (based on experience)

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee K-12 and higher education construction projects in Columbus, Ohio. This role involves managing the full project lifecycle—from preconstruction through closeout—ensuring safety, quality, and budgetary goals are achieved.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing education facility projects and a proven ability to coordinate teams, communicate with stakeholders, and deliver projects on time and within budget.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all phases of K-12 and higher education construction projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution.
  • Collaborate with Superintendents, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, school officials, and project partners, ensuring open and clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Oversee the preparation of project schedules, budgets, subcontracts, change orders, and other key documentation.
  • Identify and mitigate potential project risks while maintaining compliance with education-specific codes and safety regulations.
  • Ensure projects are delivered within the approved scope and budget, proactively managing changes and challenges.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, school boards, inspectors, and other key stakeholders.
  • Ensure all work meets quality standards and complies with industry regulations and client expectations.


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager, or Senior Project Engineer, with a focus on K-12 or higher education projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, project management processes, and education-specific regulations.
  • Experience with construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project.
  • Proven ability to lead project teams, manage multiple stakeholders, and drive projects to successful completion.
  • OSHA 30 certification required; LEED GA/AP is a plus but not mandatory.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required with equivalent experience.
