Job Summary:
Under general supervision, the Housekeeper is responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure the cleanliness, organization, and upkeep of shared spaces within the property. This includes cleaning common areas, handling waste disposal, maintaining guest accommodations, and supporting recycling efforts.

Essential Job Duties and Core Responsibilities:

  1. Lobby & Reception Areas: Clean entry doors, dust and wipe down furniture, sanitize surfaces, vacuum floors and mats.
  2. Administrative Offices: Empty trash bins daily and perform routine cleaning of office spaces.
  3. Mail & Package Areas: Wipe down counters, shelves, and storage units, sweep and mop floors, and manage trash disposal.
  4. Common Rooms & Meeting Areas: Dust and sanitize furniture, clean window sills, wipe down equipment, and vacuum floors.
  5. Kitchen & Break Rooms: Wipe down counters and appliances, sanitize sinks, sweep and mop floors, empty trash bins.
  6. Restrooms: Clean and sanitize sinks, toilets, and fixtures, restock supplies, empty trash, and mop floors.
  7. Fitness & Recreation Areas: Dust and sanitize surfaces, wipe down equipment, vacuum floors, empty trash, and restock necessary items.
  8. Elevators: Clean and polish walls, rails, control panels, and doors; sweep and mop floors as needed.
  9. Hallways & Corridors: Vacuum carpets, wipe down baseboards, doors, and window sills, and remove any debris.
  10. Guest Accommodations: Change linens, clean and sanitize bathrooms, restock supplies, wipe down furniture, vacuum, and ensure a neat appearance.
  11. Outdoor & Seasonal Maintenance: Maintain outdoor furniture, restock cabana areas if applicable, and check for upkeep needs.
  12. Parking Areas & Storage Spaces: Remove cobwebs, sweep floors, and ensure the cleanliness of designated spaces.
  13. Recycling & Waste Management: Collect and separate recyclable materials for pickup.

Job Requirements:
  1. Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
  2. Strong customer service and communication skills.
  3. Excellent time management and ability to follow directions.
  4. High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
  5. Adherence to safety policies and procedures at all times.
  6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  7. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules, including occasional extended hours if needed.
  8. Physical ability to lift, stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks regularly.

Qualifications:
  • At least two (2) years of experience in housekeeping for residential or commercial property management.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Any combination of relevant education, training, and experience may be considered.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform tasks that may require bending, crouching, or reaching.
  • Work may take place in varying environmental conditions, including hot or cold temperatures.
