Will have out of state overnight travel, a lot at the beginning then around 50%

10 OT hours due to driving time

Must Haves:

• HS diploma/GED
• Valid driver's license
• Desire and ability to work outside most of the time
• Ability to learn new processes and utilize field equipment (cameras, iPad, measuring equipment)
• Ability to stand and walk far distances/majority of the day
• Ability to obtain EH rated shoes

Plusses:

• Prior experience in power distribution
• Any utility knowledge/experience

Day to Day:

Our client is looking for a Field Technician to join the team! This role will work full time in the field, early on will include 50% out of state travel with overnight stay. All expenses are covered with food costs being reimbursed. Will have OT hours each week due to drive time. Will work in the field 100% of the week and travel to different sites to inspect power poles for deficiencies and complete data collection. Usually works Monday-Thursday. Company vehicle and PPE is provided with the exception of EH rated shoes. The ideal candidate will be someone who loves working outdoors and has great attention to detail. Full training is provided.
